With the results of the Summer Fete, Summer Disco and sales of ice lollies, spring flowers and Burleigh Bars, we at the FABS Committee are so excited to announce that we’ve achieved our £10k fundraising target goal to support outdoor education at Burleigh School.
After previously donating £6k to the school in January after our Annual General Meeting, we have completed a transfer of an additional £4k to Burleigh Primary School now in July.
Many parents will already have noticed that significant improvements have been made to the outdoor learning facilities already with new equipment outside of the Infant Building. Other areas on the property are also now under refurbishment. FABS funds have helped to contribute to these improvements in cooperation with the school leadership and staff.
Thank you for all of your support this 2024/ 2025 school year! Whether you gave your time, your money or your permission for a child to attend an event we all helped to chip into our collective goal.

Our next FABS meeting will be held on Tuesday September 16th at 9am in person at Simmons Bakery in Cheshunt and in the evening at 8:30pm online via Google Meet. Our wider community is invited to attend either in person or remotely or both if you choose. Stay tuned for details here or via our WhatsApp group. We will be discussing our event planning for next year as well as interim direction of funds prior to our Annual General Meeting in January of 2026.
